What do you get when a French girl from sun-soaked Aix-en-Provence meets a British bloke from breezy Brighton on a dating app? Apparently, a romance worthy of a LEGO set! Our first date in May 2022 was set in London’s Regent’s Park, where a simple walk turned into hours of laughter, stories, and a few hints of “je ne sais quoi.” Fast forward, and we’ve shared countless laughs, trips, built some impressive LEGO sets (yes, we’re both die-hard LEGO fans), and crafted an exciting life together in the UK. In August 2024, we took the next step and moved in together in Oxford, and in September, Alastair popped the question during a breezy hike on the magnificent Sainte-Victoire in Aix-en-Provence—wind, ring, and all! We then welcomed Coco, our tortoiseshell cat, just to make things purrfectly official and finally moved to our Home Sweet Home in Surrey, living our dream of having our own LEGO room! Now, we’re building our biggest adventure yet—our wedding in Provence!
