FAQs

We know planning a trip to a wedding in another country comes with lots of questions, so we’ve put together this FAQ section to help make everything as smooth as possible. If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for, feel free to reach out to us directly—we’re happy to help!

1. What time should I arrive at the venue?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 17:00, so we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early to find your seat and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

2. What should I wear?
We’d love for you to dress in smart and elegant attire. Please avoid wearing light grey or rose tones to allow our bridal party to stand out. For more information, check out the Dress Code section on this website.

3. Are children welcome?
Yes! Children are more than welcome to join in the celebration. There will be a dedicated kids’ area at the venue with some fun activities and babysitters looking after them!

4. Will transportation be provided to and from the venue?
We can help arranging shuttle services from Aix to the venue and back. Please let us know if you need any help. Alternatively, you can park on-site if you’re driving.

5. What is the weather like in Trets in late July?

Expect warm and sunny weather, with average temperatures around 30°C  during the day and cooler evenings. We recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, and a light shawl or jacket for later in the evening.

6. Is there a gift registry?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift! However, if you’d like to contribute, we’ve included some information on the Gifts section of this website.

7. Will there be a photographer? Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We have a professional photographer to capture the special moments, so we kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. Feel free to take and share photos during the reception, and don’t forget to use our hashtag: #OuiDo2025

8. Will there be vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free meal options?

Yes, we’ve ensured there are options to accommodate all dietary preferences but we need to know in advance. If you have any specific allergies or requests, please let us know when you RSVP.

9. Do we need to pick a meal in advance?

Not at all! We’ll be hosting an extended cocktail reception with a mix of canapés, food stations, and hearty options to keep everyone satisfied. This will flow into a family-style dinner featuring sharing plates, allowing everyone to enjoy a variety of dishes together.

10. What happens after the wedding?

We’re hosting a brunch the next morning (Friday, 1st August) at the same venue starting at 12:00. It’s a relaxed gathering, and we’d love to see you there if you can make it!

11. How do I RSVP?

RSVPing is simple—just head over to the RSVP page on this website and fill out the form by Thursday 1st April.

12. Can I bring a +1 to the wedding?
We’ve worked hard to plan a celebration that feels intimate and special, and unfortunately, we’re unable to accommodate additional guests beyond those already listed on the invitations. If your invitation includes a +1, we’d love for them to join us. Thank you for your understanding!

13. Who should I contact if I have more questions?
