Dress Code

Wedding Day: "Provence Chic"
For the ceremony and reception, we’re embracing the elegance of Provence. Think light, airy fabrics, and your best summer finery. Suits for the gents, dresses or jumpsuits for the ladies, and feel free to add a pop of French flair!

Ladies, consider wedges or flats for grassy areas.
Gents, a linen suit or a crisp shirt will keep you cool and stylish.

To help our bridal party stand out, we kindly ask our guests to avoid wearing light grey and rose tones. Feel free to embrace festive and elegant attire in any other colours that make you feel fabulous! Thank you for adding to the beauty of our special day.

Brunch: "Pizza & Poolside Casual"
The day after the wedding, we’ll keep it relaxed with a poolside brunch and delicious pizza. Come as you are—think breezy and comfy! Swimwear, sun hats, and sandals are welcome and encouraged, so don’t forget your sunscreen and a towel if you fancy a dip!

Children Are Welcome!

We’re so happy to have little ones join us for the celebration! To make things easier for parents, we’ll arrange babysitters to keep them entertained during the evening. There will also be a quiet room available where they can rest if needed, complete with cribs, air mattresses, and cozy spots to settle in.

If you have specific needs or preferences, let us know in advance so we can make sure everything is just right for your family!

Language of Love (and Logistics!)

Our wedding ceremony will be held in both French and English, reflecting our story as a French-British couple. While we’ll make sure everyone feels included, now might be the perfect time to brush up on those GCSE French skills (you never know when "je t’aime" might come in handy!).

Want to practice? Start with these:

“Santé!” (Cheers!)
“Où est le bar?” (Where is the bar?)
“C’est magnifique!” (It’s beautiful!)

Don’t worry, we’ll keep it simple and provide translations where needed!

Weather: Sunshine Alert!

Provence in late July is known for its gorgeous weather—think plenty of sunshine and temperatures around 27–32°C. While it’s perfect for a summer celebration, it can get quite warm, so we recommend dressing in light, breathable fabrics and packing your summer essentials: sunglasses, hats, sunscreen, and maybe even a handheld fan!

Evenings tend to cool down a little, so bringing a light jacket or shawl is a good idea too.

Stay cool, hydrated, and ready to enjoy the day!

French Wedding Vibes

French weddings are a little different from British ones—think of them as a marathon, not a sprint!

The celebration starts later in the day, with dinner served later in the evening, followed by dancing and partying until the early hours of the morning.

To fully enjoy the festivities, we suggest pacing yourself with drinks, getting a good rest beforehand, and coming ready to celebrate all night long.

Trust us, it’s worth it—this will be a night (and morning!) to remember!
